I am a teacher of students with intellectual disabilities. My students are aged 9 to 12 and are just about the neatest kids around. I teach them up to three years, and I only have about 12 kids at a time, so I get to know them and their lives very well. It is a rewarding, although sometimes crazy difficult job that I love! But, they can say the strangest, funniest and weirdest stuff. So much so that I often say to myself "huh?!" and then "I need to remember that!" So, here's the place for me to remember and keep account of those one-liners, and the sometimes longer stories that make working with this bunch of students so amazing!
